MANAGEMENT & SCIENCE COURSES

Overview

The primary goal of our courses in Management & Science is to provide, through their structure, a solid base and interdisciplinary education as well as a good study methodology, also focused on problem solving, on which to engage any further studies and career paths.

The lessons, whose key feature is the multi-disciplinarity, may be followed completely online (through our e-learning platform and with the assistance of qualified professors/tutors) or blended, in collaboration with the universities and the courses are also recognized by personnel/certification bodies: the university, designated in agreement with the candidate, will issue the title upon completion of the course of study.

The trail of students is free, but the constant monitoring by professors/tutors of their activities and the ability to view their achievements, help learners to organize themselves better and to benefit of the course according to the schedule.

All courses are evaluated through homework, quizzes, tests, exams and projects supplied by the professor/tutor during the program.

The level of the scores assigned to the students refers to the knowledge gained and helps the professor/tutor in identifying the need to fill any debits by planning of further training/studies to attain the necessary skills.

Programs

Our courses related to Environmental Management and Marine Biology disciplines are available from the Certificate to the Doctorate with customized programs, according to the needs of the candidates: you can attend a series of Diploma level courses in order to obtain, for example, a Bachelor for those who already have adequate education, training and work experience.

Students can start to attend at any time of year the courses provided in e-learning or blended (and in this case the "in-class" time is arranged according to the number of enrolled students/requests received at our office).

Applicants who do not hold a high school diploma and wish to enroll to one of our undergraduate courses, attend a short completion program in order to achieve the credits required.

Admission

For the admission to the university programs, from the Certificate to the Bachelor's level, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

  • have a high school diploma
  • have a cumulative GPA of 3.0

For the Certificate level, in the event of no possession of a high school diploma, the student, with already 5 years past high school age experience, has to attend a bridging coursework to test him out on, for example, science and literary skills and to confirm he has the competency to apply under the adult program.
In many cases those who are 23 years old are exempted from having to attend high school diploma exams: in this case the universities add a remark on the transcript that the person has completed a bridging coursework equivalent to high school.

From the Diploma to the Bachelor's level, in the event of no possession of a high school diploma, the student must have a Certificate in the same field of the course chosen for the admission to the Diploma program or a Diploma in the same field of the course chosen for the admission to the Associate degree's program or an Associate degree's in the same field of the course chosen for the admission to the Bachelor's degree program.

Admission requirements established by the university to Master's level programs must be a Bachelor's/Master’s degree related to the course chosen, issued by an institution approved by an appropriately accredited agency internationally recognized or an educational institution approved by an equivalent authority.
The number of courses to be attended for the Master's Degree beyond the Bachelor's Degree/Master’s degree are different according to the area of study (subjects as, for example, individual research project, group project for the on-site courses, in relation to the course chosen, can be added).
The universities may accept a maximum of 6 courses in transfer towards the Master's degree for Bachelor’s courses, completed at an institution approved by an appropriately accredited agency internationally recognized or an educational institution approved by an equivalent authority.

Admission requirements established by the university to Doctorate level programs must be a Master’s degree related to the course chosen, issued by an institution approved by an appropriately accredited agency internationally recognized or an educational institution approved by an equivalent authority.
The number of courses to be attended for the Doctorate are different according to the area of research (they may be based on an extensive research work related to the discovery or introduction of findings due to extensive research works in a particular area).

The recognition of prior learning (RPL) for the programs from the Certificate to the Bachelor's level is based on a combination of high school GPA, completion of specific high school courses, list of learning and training activities attended, general and technical knowledge, work experience related and coherent to the course chosen; for a specific Master's degree program, the recognition of prior learning (RPL) is based on a combination of completion of specific Bachelor's/Master’s degree programs, list of learning and training activities attended, general and technical knowledge, work experience related and coherent to the course chosen.
